    Ha ha! Thanks for that!

  2. rdalusio says:

i made that for my dog ,,but then i ate it all,,it was good

  3. ChefTips says:

Perhaps 3 days in the refrigerator. Feed the same amount of food you normally give the dog. Perhaps about 1/3rd of the casserole.

  4. KWalsh554 says:

How long can this be stored? Also, what would be an appropriate serving size for a large (around 80lbs) dog?

  5. ChefTips says:

Thanks for sharing your revisions. Sounds perfect! Hope she enjoyed it. Jason

I used this with just a little twist, instead of beef I used ground chicken and excluded the corn and put peas in its place, (no salt sweet peas mind you, too much salt in them canned goods as it is.) Then added rice to the mix, one little bag of the ‘boil-in-a-bag’ rice did the trick, and then I used colby jack cheese instead of monterey jack

Reason for the Chicken is to be easier on their tummies.

One is a Purebred Maltese, her constitution is very sensitive.

    Thanks for the video.

Thanks for TUBING in. LOL :) I would make this recipe with vegetarian ingredients myself, as I know the truth about hamburger.

(ctd) I don’t know about parmesan, though: given the price, it’s a rare luxury here, and I don’t think my dog should be eating better than I am :D .

I give my dog scraps several times a week, usually in the form of Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, Chinese, Japanese, or Italian foods, which are the foods that I prepare (I love to cook) and order in the most often. He loves them, is very healthy, and probably has a more international and sophisticated palate than most of the people I know :D .

  12. vorpal22 says:

LOL *rolls eyes*. I can’t believe how uptight some people are about their animal’s nutrition. Seriously, if they invested that much time and thought into their own nutrition, we’d have a fraction the obesity rate and incidence of health problems that we have today.

My admiration goes out to you, Chef Jason, for being so patient with the asshats that are coming and spouting off at you for preparing this sumptuous treat for your dog. (ctd)

  13. vorpal22 says:

@biggles4life Sorry, but that’s a load of hooey. We’ve been eating cooked meats, fruits, and veg for centuries and life expectancy has only increased. Furthermore, as dogs are scavengers, they’re designed to eat whatever they can get their paws on, from raw foods to rotten, rancid meat that’s been sitting out in the sun for days.

  14. sproutedbean says:

well said. you have it right. i am truly baffled by the video above, the only thing these sorts of recipes will give you is a fat, congested, clogged up, sluggish and dim witted dog. reminds me of a lot of humans i know eating the same sorts of things.

  15. paulanyc09 says:

Its not about you and what you do. Mine eat raw food too but there are always other options. Stop being so opinionated

Hello. Sugar is a Shih Tzu. Pronounced shee tsoo. She has been a great little dog who loves our kids and loves to travel. xD

  18. LindsayBBW25 says:

i had a st.bernard named Sugar too.. *high five* for dogs named sugar ;)

  19. DrosselKainz says:

Such an adorable dog! Do you mind if I ask what kind it is? :3 It’s looks like one I had when I was a child.

I will have to try this for my dogs next Christmas so they can get in on the festivities as well. xD

  20. ChefTips says:

This is only meant as a special treat, not a daily menu.

  21. biggles4life says:

It is sad that people are feeding their dogs this type of foods. Dogs are not designed to eat any of these items. Please do yourself a favor and look into Raw meats and vegetables for your dogs. Also we are designed to eat only raw fruits and vegetables. Learn how animal cells work and what they need (Amino Acids.) Only way to get the correct Amino Acids is from Raw Meats, Fruits, and Vegetables. My dogs eat only raw uncooked foods and are healthier than any other dog I know.

I am not sure it this book has a fiber recipe or not. You may want to check with your vet.

  23. writtingsongs4life says:

  24. abf08 says:
